The contest creation guide by Rewardry
Want to create a contest and share it with the world with Rewardry? That's great! To help you get started, we've put created this guide. You'll find all the steps to organize your contest.
Let’s start !
1. Define your goals
Before you start, you need to clearly identify the purpose of your contest. This depends on your marketing strategy and needs. You might want to promote a product/service, build or maintain a community on your social networks, boost brand awareness, etc…
Once defined, you need to keep your objective in mind throughout the creation of your contest.
2. Identify your target audience
Now that you know the purpose of your contest, you need to identify and learn about your audience. While the Rewardry app allows you to show your contest to the world, your marketing strategy will often target a specific audience.
Once you've defined your audience, make sure you know its characteristics so you can adapt your contest. For example, a young and sporty audience will be more attracted by a full, bright and dynamic banner.
3. Define your budget
Creating and publishing your contest on the Rewardry app is completely free. However, you will still need to consider certain expenses. The most obvious is related to the contest prize(s). Don't forget the cost of sending your prizes to the winner(s). In addition, you can promote your contest on social networks, or in your store by printing posters. You can also hire a designer to create eye-catching banners for your contest on the app.
4. Select the prizes to be won
Depending on your budget, your objectives and your target audience, select the prizes you want the winner(s) to win. Make sure the prizes are attractive and relevant for your target audience.
5. Create and configure your contest
Now you can design your contest. Think about all the details without losing sight of your objectives. Creating a contest on the Rewardry app gives you the freedom to organize it to your taste.
Here are some of the details you can set up on the app:
dates (start and end of contest)
number of winners
country(ies) where you want to organize the contest
participation conditions (for example, like and follow your Rewardry account)
private contest (set a password to enter your contest, ideal for community contests)
6. Publish your contest on Rewardry
Your contest is now ready to be posted. Make sure you've chosen an attractive contest title and banner, to entice users to participate and get interested. Don't forget to detail the prizes to be won in the contest description.
8. Contact the winner(s)
At the end of your contest, Rewardry will draw the winner(s) of your contest. One or more conversations will then be opened between you and the winner(s). You will then be able to contact them directly from the application to agree on how to send the prize(s).
9. Keep your community alive
If you want to maintain a community on social networks, or engage your audience, don't hesitate to communicate about your contest even after it's over. Post photos of the prize(s) being sent on the social networks, or share winners' testimonials, for example.

The first thing to do when you want to create a contest is to find out about the laws in force in the country(ies) where you want to run the contest.
